There are two models of reagent addition pumps available for use with the Man-Tech Family of Ion Analysis Products: the Dosing Pump and the Peristaltic Pump. These pumps are controlled by the PC-Titrate™ Software. Reagent Addition Pumps have very important advantages:

• Lower cost than burets
• Will not use a buret position, thereby maintaining availability of four burets
• Over 20 reagent addition pumps may be connected to a PC-Titrate™ System
• 4 reagent addition pumps may be connected to a QC-Titrate™ or AssayPlus™ System

The Man-Tech Dosing Pump is designed to provide accurate reagent transfer volumes for non-titration required techniques, such as sample preparation steps or back titration injections. This means accurate reagent delivery and availablilty of all buret positions, at an affordable price. All PC-Titrate™, QC-Titrate™, AssayPlus™ and TitraSip™ SA Systems can be connected to dosing pumps.

There are two models of dosing pumps:

• aqueous model
• non-aqueous model

The Man-Tech Peristaltic Pump is designed to provide reagent transfer volumes for non-titration required techniques, such as sample preparation steps. The Peristaltic pump is used where high levels of accuracy are not required. The peristaltic pump costs less than the dosing pump and leaves all buret positions available. All PC-Titrate™, QC-Titrate™, AssayPlus™ and TitraSip™ SA Systems can be connected to peristaltic pumps. Peristaltic Pumps come either in a LOW SPEED or HIGH SPEED configuration.

Examples of Peristaltic Pump use include:

• pH adjustment of samples prior to analysis
• addition of excess KI for redox titrations
• rinsing of probes (a peristaltic pump is included with every autosampler)
