In certain applications, temperature control is required. For example, there are applications where the accuracy/precision of pH and/or conductivity measurements exceed the values obtained
with normal temperature compensation. In these applications, the temperature of the calibration standards and samples need to be temperature controlled to a certain value. Man-Tech has
developed temperature controlled sample racks for the complete range of autosamplers.
Another example of the use of the temperature control is for Kappa number analysis. The Kappa AssayPlus™, developed in conjunction with PAPRICAN, controls the temperature of the
samples to 25 degrees Celsius. PAPRICAN found that temperature control generated better results than temperature compensation.
These temperature control systems can be configured for a variety of sample cups and they also have a broad range (depending on the temperature circulator being employed).
For stand alone systems, smaller racks or water jacketed beakers may be used. Smaller rack systems allow for a number of samples to be temperature controlled at one time. The
PC-Titrate™ software automatically prompts the operator through voice and/or text messages once one sample is analyzed and it is waiting for next.
Man-Tech continues to deliver effective automated solutions that generate accurate and defensible results.
